December’s Frame Award goes to the Thomas Tse-designed Utopia 2020 Dream Home, which marries aesthetics and functionality to create a petite urban paradise.

Securing the Frame Awards Interior of the Month for December is the Utopia 2020 Dream Home. Thomas Tse of Inspiration Group sought to transform a tiny 20 sq-m space in Guangzhou, China, into a private ‘utopia’ for a newlywed couple and their two cats. Utopia is described by the submitter as a space where nature, people and pets can harmoniously coexist and influence one another. ‘This is a very idealized state of society, the scene of a better social life for urbanites.’

Meanwhile, we noticed that the colorful commentaries and valuable opinions were left by the international jury during the public voting process, who is consist of professionals from various design fields.

It is our honor to know <Utopia> has won their support and recognition, to be seen among the excellent works all over the world, it also has been published on the home page of the FRAME website, and shortlisted for the 2022 Frame Awards directly.

We are grateful for the affirmation of Jury!

And we will keep moving forward with this driving force in the future, continuously make our own contribution to the renewal and vitality of the city by carrying “The Plan of Seeding Light”.

將中國廣州一個20㎡大小的極小空間，改造為一對新婚夫婦及他們寵物貓的城市烏托邦。在他的理念裡，烏托邦被形容為一個能夠平衡自然、人、寵物各自需求，和諧共存、相互影響的空間環境，一個非常理想化的社會狀態，也是都市人對美好社會生活的憧憬。

與此同時，我們注意到公開投票過程中，來自不同設計領域國際評委留下的精彩評語及寶貴看法。

<窩·居>項目有幸得到他們的支持和認可，在全球優秀參賽作品中脫穎而出，並于FRAME官網首頁進行了刊登，直接入圍 2022 Frame Awards 年度大獎參與角逐。
